How do I fish this?

Anybody every make one of these? Found it in a shop, made by someone in Fall River.

How do you think it should be fished? It doesn't feel like it's weighted at all.

Looks like something they dropped out of planes during WWII.

I know, shouldn't the fuse be on the other end :laughs:

Looks like a Zara Torpedo for Large mouth. The prop gets a wake going on the nice calm lake water....don't see what it could do in the Ocean though. I'd lose the bucktail as the props turbulence will be disrupted by the action of the bucktail

In freshwater, we either slow wake them so the prop kicks up some water, or use them like a popper (i.e., pop, pop, pop, pause, repeat). Hopefully there is some weight in the belly to keep it from rolling over while working it.
