Tips given to you from Canal Rat

I was fishing down the canal on early morning, not catching much and a guy asked if I minded if he could fish the same rip, a little peaved I said sure okay. The then caught 5 stripers in front of me over the next 2 hours while i got a schoolie. As he was leaving I asked what the weird looking jig was he was using. It was an eel skin jig that he had made out of a bank sinker.

he then explained to me how make them, and gave me one. that is how i was introduced to skin jigs. :D
