Crafty I haven't given up... Just think how things will look in the year 2010 if the striper recovery stays its path.. Lets all hop all goes well.
Blackeye.... your a sick and twisted indavidual.. and thats why I like ya:D |
Nice pictures Eben.Something haunting anout seeing similar pictures when i was growing up in Outdoor Life and Field and Stream.:) Best part was just seeing a couple of guys on the beach.
|
Yup, without a doubt - brings back simpler times, longer days on the beach, and fewer cares.
When men were men and the fish were afraid....nice pix, E, thanks - :) |

Touche! :D

i like the camo paint job
on the beach rig.....the only thing that would have made that picture better would be a real woody surf buggy.....to me thats the sweetest looken ride ever created. i love real wood on a car.
|
Someday these will be our good old days!:D
|
Nice one tattoo! A friend of mine is still using 2 of Jerry's surfrods.
I wonder where that pic was taken???? ;) |
Hey, Inkie, you holdin' out on me? :smokin:
Nice one :tooth: - man, have I got a beaut for you...heheheheheheh Oh yeah...any word from Elvis? PM me, he was threatening a visit Thursday nite for sometime Sunday....Bloody Bullrakes anyone? :buds: You can also check out the newly opened Angler's Lounge if you're down this way - Lemme know - I'll go shovel out and hose down the tackle bunker too if I got company coming..... |
the original "sand sissy"
#13 M.B.B.A. and his trademark camo paint job, all of his buggies had 'em .. Frank Woolner... Bob Andrews, (Capn' Andy, past president MBBA, mid-fifties), told me the story of how Frank got #13, all to appease someone who had to be #1........ and #1 is now erased from all club records...
see, it don't pay to be #1 ;) |

Hey, Tat, found this recently - nice shot of some old steam-powered vessels -
Personally, that's my idea of the good old days. |
Check out the bottom configuration of that pic Tattoo put up....you don't see that much.
A friend of mine rented the house on Ocean Road where Jerry Sylvester had his tackle shop - he said that there was still a bunch of old tanks and other stuff in there. |
oh oh I know I know where that pic was taken. Its in the vacinity of the ****:D
|
Notice three out of the four have red hats, in tattoos picture

Windcheater John, in those days for some reason "Real Men" always wore red hats, woolrich red/black plaid shirts, leather boots, and smoked a pipe. Don't know why but those things still remind me of the true sportsmen of real character.
Different clothes ,but i believe the same type of guys are still on this site.:) |
Red was a popular color in those days, Kinda thru out the question, (observation) to see if they were members of a club?
|
careful puttin up all those pics BASSMASTER might start using them in his posts....... I'm never lettin this one die!! you are tooo much!
