Doctors
 

Anyone know of a website or someone I can call to check out a Doctor. I have to make a decision in the next few weeks on getting back surgery and my Doc. seems to know his stuff but I'd like to look at more info on him. I've been out of work for 8 months in pain and I've had enough.:af:

Is this Doc a neurologist?
I had an excellant neurologist operate on a ruptured disk years ago. You are doing the right thing by checking out everything possible.

Yes Slip, he is a neurologist. How did it go for you? I have a herniated disk and pinched siatic nerve. I am hoping to be able to go back to being a mechanic but not getting my hopes up. I guess I'll have to do what I've got to do. Slip, PM me, I'd like to know more about what you went thru if you don't mind.

i'd consider another trade
 

if i were you.....as you can always go back to being a mechanic or do side jobs for whatever money....that way you can train/learn another trade while on your down time.
