I'm sure some of you are going to enjoy this. I didn't know a jet could do this. Reminds me of Maverick saying, "I'm gonna put on the brakes and he'll fly right by."

Here is an aircraft video to watch. Actually, there are two videos attached back to back. It is a six and a half minute film showing a Russian SU-35 being put through its paces. The first film ends after about three and a half minutes. Don't do anything. Just wait for the second film to start. Otherwise you will miss some great cockpit footage.

I really dug that flick. It all has to do with the addition of those stubby little wings on the front of the place that make it possible, with the directed thrust off the jet exhaust to recover from a stall like that. That is an updated version of an Russian Sukoi design. The earlier version crashed at the Paris airshow after failing to recover from a stall that radical I think they called it the SU -29. I know the U.S. had nightmares about it because it could out-manouveure the f-16 and f-15 eagle. Now with the canard wing addition and the directable thrust it really cooks. Still got a stealth problem though, very detectable. :D
