I need some Help. Fishing Charleston area

HELP!! taking family to Carleston for next 2 weeks. Want to fishEast Beach to Breachway. What tactics? What tide? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Fish the dropping tide out of the Breachway WITH another person WITH (both of you wearing) korkers and use needle fish (when waiting for the tide to drop), swimmers like mambos (pearl's good so is olive) and danny's and darters and of course, the living eel. Know how you are going to reach fish before pulling them out. It can be a real nut cracker to go down the front to pull up a fish with Kokers on and far worse without them.... Incoming tides, jig the inside of the breachway and ther's usually good fish in the pond too. Don't fish the breachway if the waves are too strong as they can knock you off the front of it...
Night is best fo keepers, often find schoolies during the day...

I don't work the beach there much, just the breachway ;D ...

I always liked the 2-hours before and 2-hours after theory. I had pretty good luck with that inside the breachway. Out front sunset and sunrise along the beach is usually productive for shad, schoolies, and blues.....
