Blind plugs

I posted this on my website today and thought I'd spread the word here too.

Eye Adhesion Problem.
In the last several weeks I have found a problem with a small number of lures losing their eyes. I believe I have narrowed this problem down to either bad glue or the glue soaking into the surface behind the eye. This has affected 8 lures so far out of almost 4000 that have been made since changing to a new wood sealer last year.
I have changed ALL new lures this week to a new German polyurethane glue with 4000 psi strength and have solved the problem. All lures in shops have been or will be redone in the coming week.
In the meantime if anyone has a problem with a lure previously purchased losing it's eyes, mail it with a piece of paper showing your name and mailing address and I will send you back the repaired lure and a NEW one for your efforts.

You're a class act. I recall you doing the same for me last year. And, for those new to the board, he sent the extra plug without even telling me. That was a nice touch, and a great surprise. Hope you got the glue issue straightened out !

thanks nightfighter.
Definitely got it now, this stuff is beaucoup expensive but the end result is 24 hours after it's glued you have to bend the epoxy eyes in half to try and get them off the plug so I know I'll never have a problem again.

Thanks for fishing my plugs.
