thanks oak,
but the tubes are already there, I just need the rubber caps |
You have a great rack!
I just got my cargo rack all set up this past weekend too. Mine is a little ghetto compared to yours though. Mr. I have a fancy rack man. :D
|
they sell the caps seperately . they are a bit pricey but your rods wont bounce around and get hurt . I bought some for my tubes on my truck .
|
Chris is right... 9 bucks each, but IMHO, worth it in the long run (no pun intended)
|
I picked up some rubber fenrcos and am going to try epoxying them to the top of the tubes. Hopefully it will work. Thanks for the suggestions...i will use them if the first solution fails.

thats awsome:)
|
That is a beauty I must say. Think scarecrow should get one for his buick.
|
He would have to mount it to the roof to keep it from plowing the sand!?!
|
That is a awsome rack!!! :btu:
|
That is a nice rack. Is it custom built?
stainless steel or aluminum? nils |
Yow! That is a cadillac of racks! Details...please, where, who how much and how was it mounted? Really sweet!
I feel so wimpy now.... |
:kewl: You can always cut a 3-4in rubber radiator hose and place it on the outside top of the tube.
|
nice rack!
And the one on your truck is nice too.:buds:
|
Thanks for the compliments!!! I will post all details later this evening...no time now.
Thanks Brandon:D |

How does one go about getting permits to go oversand and where would you go?
I would first want to find someone willing to take me along as a guest so that I can learn how it is done and if it is worth the expense... |
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So Sweet!!! It was worth the wait. You and Gary make a great design and build team! I am looking forward to putting it through its paces. We are gonna over load those front springs with the "WHALE"!!
