Reel Repair

Got a problem with the bail on my Shimano Baitrunner that I need some advice on fixing. The bail pulls out of the bail hinge opposite the roller. I keep sliding it back in the wee little hole, but it just keeps popping back out.
Question is, what should I use to epoxy it back in the little hole?
Can I just melt a little of the rod tip cement on to the end of the bail wire and slide it into the little hole? Will it hold?

I think you lost the little "c" or "e" clip on the end of that. Any hardware store should carry the size you need. Pull the metal rod out and if there is a small grove cut into it then that is what came off.

I think that is how the end on the BR's work. I''ll check later tonight when I have the reel infront of me.

Is your reel an A, or B series BR? A= barrel knob grip, and B= rubber flat grip/paddle.
