Kayaks
What would you rocomend for Jappa flats next to the merrimeac river in MA? Im looking at the mainstream kingfisher kayak on basspro.com

Catch0,
The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 rigged for fishing is a best sit on top on the market right now. As for a sit in the Pungo 140 is also a good choice. We rig most of the kayaks with angler packages based on the user needs. All SB members are entitled to a 10% discount from us. Visit the Wilderness website and check them out. The Perception Bimini is a fine Yak also. Don't forget it when shopping around.

I own a Tarpon 160, 140 and had a 120. I love these yaks!
The 160 is what I will fish in big water and I took the 140 out for the first time last night... NICE YAK! I can't believe how stable that thing is! If I didn't have so much gear on my first trip with it I would have tried standing up. It felt so solid that I am sure I would have not had a problem but I'll leave that for a day I take it out to test its limits, with no gear. Do yourself a favor and try the Tarpons - at KingCove if possible. Tight Lines, Rob |
Thanks for all your post guys. I want to get a kayak bad this year for joppa flats. Has anyone ever heard of these flats? its in plum island on the merrimac river. I really want the tarpon 140 but first need another rod for plugs first :D
