Surfrunner Blues

After replacing the antena, the stern nav light and repairing the power trim ,the radar and the washdown pump. I then got to paint the bottom, wax and launch her. Off to Block island for the most productive trip I ever had. On fish for 6 hours. All over the ledge and then east of the island. Drifting eels. So many fish I stopped couting after 20. They were all pretty uniform in size 15-24 pounds. My fore arm cramped up and froze while I was fighting the last fish. For the first time I just got sick of reeling and went home. Kept 2 fish for a party today at work. It is pretty cool how life can balance out. Working so hard and facing so many issues in getting her launched this year , then having the best trip I have ever had. I am humbled by the grace of God. Have a great summer. Don and Steve I have not forgot you.
