first rod
 

I'm going to make my first attempt at a rod for when I cant get to the surf. Is there a two piece 10' rod rated approx. in the 3-6 2-5 oz range that sells for about a hundered dollars and is graphite or composite. I know this is a tall order but there are plenty of graphite rods out there for under $100 so there must be blanks in that range.

All Star 1206/2 sounds just about perfect and the price isn't too far from what you want to spend.

The Lami 120 2L or 2M runs quite a bit more.

That AllStar 1206 is a sweet blank... Price runs just a bit over the $100 mark, but is well worth it. The Batson 1209 is also great in that weight range, but is a one piece blank.
