there are trout plates, whale plates, sox plates, bruins plates..

how do we get striper plates?? i know a ton of fisherman who

would jump at the chance..

any ideas how we can get the state to consider this?

i'd be first in line..

Take Romney Fishing.

It only takes one striper hook-up to start the addiction.

Tell me where the extra $ REALLY goes for these plates first.....
yeah, they look nice, but follow the money trail.........

thats a good point.. perhaps for trash barrells out at the major fishing spots around the state.. every where i have fished this season there has been a ton of trash..

They might promise you that is where it would go... but... nope, right into the General Fund... might start out right, but, eventually, some late night session at the House... transfered.
The Beacon Hill Shuffle.

General Fund = Black Hole of Beacon Hill. Still, I want a striper plate!

so any ideas how we present this to the registry?

answered my own question. i looked on the website and sent

them a note directly..

now we need a design.. any graphic artists out there want their work on a license plate???????????

striper plates.. i remember seeing some somewhere..not sure where though..and i know its not a trout plate.. i have seen a few but it was sometime last year..i know they are like 80 bucks a plate or something like that..

crashfromamesbury 06-28-2004 01:27 PM

the striper plates are not yet a reality.. but i'll keep searching for a non profit org to sponsor them.. they would probably be along the lines of the trout plate, (the funds fromthose plates were earmarked for fish and wild life programs in the state).

but as of now there is nothing new to report.
