Lots of small fish in the bay

I saw lots of small fish in the bay on the way to newport yesterday. nothing to brag about but I thought they would be great fun on the flyrod. i saw them breaking the surface all the way down the bay but especially where the current was running good.

That's cool. You did not get anything from the Narragansett bay spill over that way, did ya??? I was reading that they closed down Narragansett's Town Beach due to oil. Some of the rocks I was fishing Friday night felt slicker than normal as well....

That is great, I guess it is time to break out the wire leaders and expendable lures so I can get me a few of those self propelled food processers.
