I am such an anal retenative. I finally have done my homework for my eelskin jig. I just skinned my few first eels. I excuted the skinning in a perfect motion without leaving any chunk on it. However, I am getting an F on my rigged eel. It looks f***ked up. I will send the photo soon. :( :smash:

rumor has it that its easier to rig up an eel while its frozen..

never done it, but thats the word on the street

oh and make sure your eels are laying straight in the freezer before you freeze them, thats the secret:D

not so true, eben. i took out the frozen one. and do you kno what happened next? it broke out like a popsicle while i was trying to break the verbrate. and it ended up for eel skin.

Notaro, an easy way to save some agravation is to just buy them the next time you are at the canal. Maco's has them.
