If any of you guys were out there today, I am sure you got yours too!

It was a spectacular day on the water, well... at least the fishing was great, even if the weather wasn't:(

Check out the belly on this one, all of the fish we were landing looked very well fed.

I was in that area this morning with JeffSod, and we were onto a big bite. We caught bass up to 24 lbs, and blues up to 10 lbs... it was nasty out there, but definitely worth it

sooo smokin'.................... I m genereally a surf guy but went out with a friend sat and sunday 20 fish 32 - 40" all on light tackle and lance's eels so many sand eels you could hear them. I was the first boat out of stage on sun am. we were all alone till @ 5:45 am it was sweeetness didnt weigh any fish but they were all fat fat .. even pulled out the flyrod

It was pretty hectic out there Saturday. There was a lot of this red plankton type stuff in the water, and the sandeels seemed to be feeding on it. There was a huge basking shark swimming around the boat. On Monday, one of us had a decent sized bass on, on the surface about 100 yards out when something attacked it... what attacked it was anyones guess... the bass dove down, then the line snapped

Great Fish Big Mike!

If it takes foggy, cloudy weather to catch fish like that... bring it on!!!!

BigMike 07-06-2004 05:59 PM

Yeah they were two awesome days... we caught more big fish in two days than the last two seasons combined. The best part was that I brought two people out who don't get out to fish often, so it was an added bonus to throw them onto a big bite.
