Do stripers use their right eye to attack with??
a friend of mine who made this comment. He is a very experienced fisherman, and a darn good one at that. FACT OR FICTION? The funny thing is right after he told me this I caught and released a striper that had his left eye damaged Mmmmmmm.

Ouch - Bill - getting stir crazy again? Would you rather go out fishing? -John |
I think it's a personal preference. A fish is going to attack it's prey from any place it has the advantage regardless of what the eye it's using.
Yes , about 50 % of the time. Except the crosseyed ones. :)
Saltheart is right on this. One thing is certian they use thier ##### ### to discharge. Awww, come on Smokey :p - I had to modify #^^^^^^&'s comments for the same reason (of course being modified, you woudn'ta know that now would you???)...
I was gonna give me the same odds as Saltheart :)
What, now I have to keep records of whether I'm getting hits while circling the ledges clockwise vs counter clockwise:mad: . That's a new one to me and I'm just curious how anyone determined that little bit of trivia? If someone has a direct line to a spokesman for the stripers in our waters, I'd like to make a request:D .
Too funny. Sounds like Smokey and #^^^^^^& see eye to eye on this subject! :)
I got a chuckle from that Saltheart, but that's bad. :)
Hey #^^^^^^&, your reply is not that clear to me, care to elaborate :D |
