poppa took a beatin'

bluefish blitz... more than I could count, plus 20 or so small bass in the mix... darn near every cast... surprised it has any finish left!
Held up pretty good, despite the beatin'.

Don't cha just love beatin' them up Karl?:smash: :D

NIB 07-12-2004 03:19 PM

the first thing I noticed was the tail hook still has hair on it..............Last fall we had some good bass 15-30 lbs along wit gorilla blues on the PP. the blues would take the back hook an get impaled on the front hook durin the battle the front hook would gettem just beyond the spot where the gills meet an cause all kinda trouble tryin to bring em in.If U could gettem on top u where golden as U could slide em in.Had one let go the hook an the plug hit me in the arm that could have been bad but u know how U are when ur watchin big bass blow up..

justplugit 07-12-2004 04:13 PM

Karl, that plug held up real nice for 20 plus razor lips chewin on it:D

Karl F 07-14-2004 02:00 PM

NIB, that hair is #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& hair, it is tough chit, and I think he has it tied on with some kind of heavy duty sail making thread, lost about half of it, but, I figure it should all be gone.
Was lucky too that most of them toothy buggers was lower lip hooked, and I didn't have to hardly use the pliers, just a quick snap and out... also, no biggies----> biggest around 4, 5 pounds meybe. Neat watching them bat it out of the water, then chase it

I won't even swim now because of those bastards. The only time I can toss a plug is from 12-5am. Otherwise those kuhntsa are everywhere.

:af: :smash: :af: :laughs:

thanks Salty,

It also doesn't help that I am over on Sissy Iland and everything takes forever to get here and to leave.

No worries. Low Barometer right now but I am still gonna head out and toss some wood.

They'll get hear and I am sure they will be fine
