Hey Tattoo
What are some of the best ways to fish your Tattoo Darters?
Thanks:) |

You can find some info out at the bottom of that page. Also, experiment with retreives. Stop and go, a steady retreive, or if your on a breachway or fishing a rip just let it swing. It all depends on what the fish want and how they want it presented to them. Practice makes perfect. |
Thanks for the info Mike, your plugs are awesome:btu: Lookin forward to practicing with your 31/2oz soon!:)

Mike:
Specifically, do you recommend tying direct from leader material to plug or attach some sort of swivel/snap lock? Txs. |
I was playing with a tattoo roundnose swimmer last night and I noticed that not only can you reel it in slowly, but you can pop it like a popper and also you can get it to thrash like a pencil popper...
verry verry versatile plug |
JustPlugIt,
I'm glad you like the plugs. Comments like that make all the hours making them worth it. Moses, I use the Crosslock snaps, tied on a 50lb leader tied to a 230lb spro tied to 50lb PowerPro. You could tie direct, but for most plugs your better off with a snap. I change plugs often until I figure out what they want so snaps are the way go. EBen, Misuse of any wooden plug is subject to penalty by death, right after I get one of those $1500 squids. |
