wee baby pogies have been sighted
A friend of mine who does charters , told me that he has seen baby pogies starting to show up in the bay. This is welcome news ,perhaps with a FOOD SOURCE the stripers will turn off their cloaking devices !
|
Yup, time to break out the tins.
Boy, I'll tell ya, if somebody had the brains to produce a little tin that looked like a baby pogy and had the markings to simulate a trilobite from the Mesozoic Era... And thus stir the primeval instincts of a striped bass into furious rod-bending strikes..... Well, then you'd really have something....:hihi: |

Storm swim shads come as small as 2". We have peanuts in CT now. The fin-s 1-3/4" shads are a dead ringer. Deadly on the hickories which get taken for a walk later in deeper water.

I've noticed a large amount of Pogies about the size of a thumbnail. Didn't Hooligan make Pogie tins? AS far as the Yo-Zuri hydro-metals, they work great on Albies, Sp. Mac's and Bone's.

Nah....nope...that's not it...let me think....:smokin:

Give in to tin! Besides, M-80's are hardly sporting. Now, quarter-sticks, on the other hand.... |
