a new threat
 

Here is a new one. Has anyone been kicked out of a spot by police for our lovely DNC hosting.

Thats right ladies and gents, if you are fishing from shore, or I would imagine by water some of your spots are and will be off limits at times during the convention.

I am standing there fishing, I hear a car, then someone is shining a spot light into the water. And then on me, back to the water, back and forth a few times. I then see the light bar on the top, and ask if they wanted me to walk up to them.

They wanted me to leave. I could park down the street. and walk back, but I had the skunk on anyways. but I thought my luck might change, I had just switched over to the black needlefish.

Cop was nice and suggested another spot, that I didn't know about :D, wasn't really fishable at low tide. And I did get to catch the fireworks show.

there ain't no keepers there....

The local harbormaster was cruising around yesterday. I was jiggin for herring for a while and the first few times the commuter boats came by, he came right over by me. After a bit, I think he figured out I wasn't a terrorist.

I wouldn't worry about it... its a temporary inconvenience. You have to figure for a week, you'll need to avoid certain areas. I stayed totally away from the inner harbor yesterday.
