Alright, my next chapter in the Quest for stripers will be to build my own rod. Here's what I'm looking for: I want to throw Bomber Class lures, From the beach, For moderate sized stripers (15-30#).What blank should I use? I'd like a rod around 9' and the reel is still to be named. This hobby has me good!:D

either the SW1087 batson /Rainshadow or the SWS1087 American Tackle/ Patriot. Basicly the same rod or the 1081L Lamiglas

Go with the Lami GSB 108 1L.
