Has anyone had any luck catchin any yet?

I've seen a few dead ones in the salt pond, so there must be some of them around.

last two seasons have been slow in the east bay. used to have no trouble getting 1-2 doz., now it's a lot of time to get 1/2 doz. not sure why, maybe it's a cycular thing?

Last year I had horrible luck as well

Really hoping this year is much better.

The really tough winters we had put a hurting on the crabs. Two years ago it was pretty darn cold and that killed off a few then we had a wicked wet spring and the salinity wasnt quite right for them, hopefully this year will be better than last it cant be any worse.

heard that when the tributaries freeze badly the weight of ice at low tides crushes them. anybody know anything about this, i always thought that blue shells were migratory.
