Trash

Why why why do all the nice happy beautiful view spots HAVE to be covered in trash?

Are people THAT freaking moronic?

Cleaned up a nice spot 2 1/2 weeks ago, now its TRASHED AGAIN and someone stole/destroyed the nice trash bin that was down there. :af:

The kicker being you have to access it technically through private land, I'm sure the owners will put up a chain sooner or later and start calling the cops. :(

Stuff is gonna happen at the canal. I was there this morning for the first time this year and I was amazed how bad the trash is. The place is a pig stye in spots. New crowd, new values.:smash:

I hate to say it because I've always been dead set against it but maybe some relief will occur AFTER a saltwater recreational license.

One that lists all the RULES in all the LANGUAGES that has in BOLD the fines for keeping shorts, taking too many, littering on the litoral, etc... One that is applied for AND SIGNED somehow after a test to confirm the key points and to confirm the recipient UNDERSTANDS WTH is being talked about

And it must be ENFORCED. After more and more enforcement, the who gives a damn attitude will be lessened, hopefully a lot.

I am more than welcome to hear any other suggestions but the more and more I look at this, the more I see it may be the only way...

One solution was paid parking and stickers on the canal.

That would pay for more cleanup and discourage the trash dumping retards from fishing there.

I'd gladly pay for a sticker if I get to look at less trash (both litter and human kinds).

On the flip side, someone left a nice face cloth at sagamore on the rocks that's taken up resident in my plug bag for wiping stuff down (after it was washed). And apparently dropped some jigs in the rocks around there...
