Fishing the Rhody tournament

What kind of fish will there be? Obviously stripers. How about bluefish? I assume bonito and albies will be long gone by then, right?

What will the main baitfishes be in the area?

I assume most of us will be plugging but I really want Mindi to catch a nice striper. Any place local to get eels? What are the running prices on eels?

What conditions will we be facing in October. I know it'll be hard to tell this far ahead but draw from personal experience. High currents, high wind, high surf? You tell me.

Now how about a place to stay? Any hotels around? You know, just to grab a shower and to shave and catch a nap in between tides. Doesn't need to be fancy. Anything will do.

Thanks.

Patrick

Weekapaug should have all the eels you want . They usually run 1.25-1.75 up here in mass. Don't know how much they will be down there.
