erin
could use some really big surf down this way, all my sand bars have lost their edges, which really used to make it easy to hammer some fish. just don't like the weed and crap that it stirs up. just hope they keep the "dummies" away from the big surf if and when it happens, always seems to be a few that get washed or worse trying to get to a "better spot". there isn't a fish out there worth risking your life for.. be smart

Careful in Boats too!
Went to go over to the Vineyard yesterday already had swells to big for a 20'. Ended up going ove to Plymouth side, got the blues over at the power plant.

Hurricane = Big Surf = Big Fishin' and Big Danger when the conditions become poor. Often the fishing will suffer afterward but probably not if we only get the surf.... If we get the storm, the fishing might suck for a few days after...

As of this AM Erin was 500 SE of LI and expected to turn slowly North then NE. The heavy waves are expected through tomorrow but diminish by Thursday.
I'm bummed about her. I'm heading offshore this weekend to the canyon and last week Erin was just a tropical depression in the bahamas and expected to break up! :( |
