Possilbe World record haddock Filleted
1 Attachment(s)
Capt Henry Duquette caught a 22 pound haddock at Stallwagon. the world record is 14.9 pounds IGFA. He filleted it before he knew about the record. What a bummer.
That looks like a pollock to me.
It is a pollock. The forked tail is a dead giveaway, the eyes are way too small for a haddock, and last but not least, a haddock has a dark lateral line.
 That's what I thought. Where's the spot
No doubt its a pollack. The lateral stripe on a haddock is balck and the fish itself is silver. No nearly a record pollack.
How many pollacks does it take to screw in a light bulb?
certainly a pollock
I heard pollocks arent smart enough to change light bulbs no matter how many there are .
thats a bigggg pollock
Yup, it's a pollock alright.:D

Well, OK then.......
I have to ask it.....
What's the world record for a pollock???? (This is a serious question, not fuel for the pollock thread). ;) |
i read that IGFA all-tackle record is 50#'s....pollock is also known as the "boston bluefish" The Maine record is in the area of 46#'s.
