Note to Self

Was drilling a few plugs on Saturday for the tail weights. I've done this before, I know what I'm doing. I placed the pencil popper in the drilling jig and held it with my BARE hand. Drill bit gets jammed, plug spins like mad and hand gets friction burn! I was going to take a pic but I can't stand to look at it. Blisters, bleed it out, blood, yellow crap. YUCK! Now, it's open. Clean it with peroxide..........OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mental note....do NOT hold plug with bare hand while drilling. Worst pain I've felt! I would have rather been kicked in the ........ you know the rest!

If U must where gloves the stiff leather kind are the ones.I have a friend who is a iron wprker lost his thumb on a drill press type machine clearing the burrs when the drill caught the glove an ripped his thumb off.

Power tools like to EAT HANDS and they think gloves are APPETIZERS...all they do is get the tool extra hungry.

Watch out with gloves.
