This is my first attempt at any type of rod building/repair. I have a rod (Broken XSRA 1084) with decent fuji guides that i want to put on another rod (simple rod for one of the nephews when he visits type thing). Any online hints or instructions anywhere on basic removal and install of guides? Thanks

heat the epoxy with some flame, then take a razor blade and make a long scrape off the epoxy. you should be able to just peel it off with your fingers. as far as putting them on a new rod you will have to re-wrap them with thread and epoxy them.

Another Tomato Plant Stake.:D
Do what DRUMCORPFAN said you should be OK |
Thanks Gents
The guides are off. Now the fun part, do you glue and wrap the thread or tape the other end of the guide and thread? 4-3 in the eighth so far so good |
Just found the answer in the canal chuncker series. Wow, i knew this was a "plunge":spin:

Is there somewhere to buy thread and epoxy over the counter in the Rhode Island area?
