Stooped by Capt. Don's today, picked up a 1.5 oz crippled herring, small black/silver tatoo swimmer, 2.5 oz blurple tatoo swimmer, got a blurple darter free, but i'm a friend:D starting my custom plug collection, i figure this is the way to start. Than, i started fishing the west jetty at c-town, using the blurple darter in the white water, it was all really froth, not water, couldn't work the darter to well. most waves were 6-8, with a good dose of 10-11. needless to say, i didn't catch anything:( C-town is one spot not to go in the day with 6-11 footers. Gonna hit napatree sat eve or sunday eve... see any of ya there? btw, we decided not to run down to weekapaug in our 16' maritime.
