Reel lube

I maintenance my reels on a regular basis and I've found that the basic Penn reel lube is fine for periodic lubing.I'm ready to give my reels a FULL cleaning before the fall run really kicks in.

What grease do y'all use.Is white lithium or bearing grease good?I don't want to put ANYTHING in my reels that might have potentially negative side affects.

I've a good handle on how to get the old grease out just not sure what to put in.

Some input from the expert Lubers here would be appreciated;) .
