Fall run advice
DUring the fall run should i still primarily fish at night? I know during the day a lotta bass blitz near the shore , but from my experience last year they are mostly smaller. Do the big girls still primarily come in close to shore at night to feed, like they do in the summer? ALso i mainly use eels, and plugs after the eels run out. Should i stick with the eels still in the fall?

Fish at night for the big girls Chef but get out during the day....you never know when one of those sweet four hour blitzes is gonna come your way (bass or blues). Eels at night, needlefish plugs, swimmers, Mambo minnows (the large ones) Long "A" bombers, dannies all slay at night! Eels are the big ticket bait though!:btu:
Good luck!;) |
I got my 33lber last fall at 3:00 o clock in the afternoon during and all day blitz off race pt on an all white atom popper. Lost a bigger on a Double jointed Bomber.

My advice, fish all night, fish all day....Make the most of it, it will be a long winter, and thats when you sleep. Fall and spring are the only time you will catch me fishing in the daylight.

I can sleep when I am dead! After September 1st....sleep takes a vacation!
