mooring size
 
Need to drop a new morring this fall so I'll be already in the spring. The boat is a wellcraft v20 cuddy (20') average high tide depth 20 feet. well protected mooring. What size mushroom etc do I need?

The guy on that link is great . I bought a 300lb set up from him this spring. He has everything you need as well as advice. Located in South east mass.

check with your harbor master...local regs differ from town to town.

Depends on a few things, bottom type and depth and exposure but your looking at something in the 200-250# range. Check with the harbormaster. He will want to tell you exactly where to put it (and can probably recommend a fellow to do it for you) Dealing with heavy anchors on board a boat is not fun.
