Korkers Vs. Studded boots?

I was looking into getting a pair of Korkers before I head to western NC to do some trout fishing. Last time i was there it was slippery as heck! Those felt soles on my wading boots did nothing. I was looking for any feedback as far as how good Korkers are campared to a pair of good studded wading boots? My boots are about shot anyway so was thinking if i got a good pair of stuuded boots i could save on getting both the korkers and new boots. But i want the BEST traction i can get. so if korkers give me better grip then i'll get them and the boots. Ugh, so many choices!:D Just looking for some opinions. Thanks guys:btu:

I've got the LLBean studded felt boots and the studs are good for slimey rocks, but you'll still want the korkers for anywhere there's weed.

I would think the studs would be better for trout fishing.

Thats what i was thinking to Spence....I think the Korkers are prob the best bet for all around traction. My firend has a pair of LL bean studded boots also and he still falls on his arse every now and then. I'll play it safe and go with the Korkers I guess. And wait till me boots totally Sh^# the bed before i get new ones:D Although a new pair of LL Bean boots with go nice with my LL bean west branch waders!:D Nah, i better wait....im not made of money!
