Napatree

Hi guys, hope all is well! I'm going to give Napatree a try Saturday afternoon thru early evening. Has anyone been there lately, any suggestions, will the tide be right, and is it safe enough for a good 10 year old fisherman? Thanks guys!

Not safe for a 10 year old. Not safe for an adult unless you're wearing Korkers - period... Even with Korkers, I've been bounced off rocks out there... You can work the beach and find fish 2/3 the way up and just up to where the rocks begin and get some nice fish but I wouldn't take a young kid on the back rocks day or night... I don't fish it personally, but the back side of Naps is safer...

My dad started taking me out to Naps @ age eight; luckily I'm now 30. Rule #1: see thread concerning Korkers, we never went out without them. Rule#2: keep your 10 year old right next to you, preferrably on a rock right next to you...in shallow water. I, like John, still get bounced around a lot out there, even in nice weather.
Be Careful,
Rick
ps-I did have a lot of fun out there with the old man, though!
