Just caught it. Crazy stuff seeing a thresher's tail almost take a guys head off. Almost 4 hrs. to reel that thing in. Talk about stamina. When is the next one on?

t.orlando 09-28-2004 07:48 PM

Next Tue. I believe. My buddy landed a Mako and watching to see if they show it.

Anyone else notice something wierd ?

Guy fights a 361 pound thresher for 4 hours . . . in shorts and tee shirt weather . . . and never broke a sweat !

Good show none-the-less . . . better that that hockey puck Charlie Moore

Who won the Tournament this year?

Wasn't the 2003 Winner Capt Bill Brown?...

I think he took the tourney with a Thresher that hit the scales at 506#'s?...

That was an awesome show, maybe some homerism making me think that but it was one of the most exciting fishing shows I've ever seen. Really well done and intense.

Even my wife was getting interested and asking all kinds of questions and she NEVERS shows interest...
