[B]Sorry this is last minute.

Putting together a six-pack offshore charter with Captain Mike B of Ave Maria Charters. Booking a little earlier than I do because the weather gets dicier as the season progresses (this is an offshore trip).

Leaves the dock in Quincy around 6 a.m., Sat. 10/16. Be back after dark.

4 spots, maybe 3 left. So far it's me, Notaro, and a maybe.

Fare is $138 per person, + mate's tip (chubsdad r u there? ).

If he's not, I will
;)

Ronnie

Notaro 09-30-2004 08:50 PM

Make sure you get LOTS of rest before the trip.

*contemplating it*

Youngmoon74 10-01-2004 10:57 AM

Hey do they supply rods and tackle or should we bring our own? I didn't see anything on the web site...

fishweewee 10-01-2004 11:02 AM

Youngmoon, all tackle provided.

Just bring yourself, some food and beverage (and take seasickness remedy well BEFORE you get on boat!) and appropriate clothing (slickers and boots). Oh yeah, bring a big cooler or at least some heavy duty garbage bags.

Notaro 10-01-2004 11:07 AM

got any extra transfdorm? seasickness patches u wore last year

Youngmoon74 10-01-2004 11:07 AM

Thanx FWW, is there enough room to bring the cooler on board? Or is it like a party boat and leave it in your car?

Notaro 10-01-2004 11:08 AM

Bring it, leave it in your car or bring it aboard, but depends ont he space we have. hopefully that we go on a four people trip...

fishweewee 10-01-2004 11:08 AM

Notaro, I do, but it's prescription-only and you have to put it on 2 hours before you leave the dock. Get an Rx from ya doc...it's not that expensive.

This stuff WORKS! Haven't been disappointed yet with this patch.

Notaro 10-01-2004 11:10 AM

okay, my mom might have a few more of them. i need them dramine makes me drowsy.

fishweewee 10-01-2004 11:10 AM

YM you can leave it in the car, there's plenty of storage on the boat. Bring a rope or twine or something to mark your fish if that's what you want to do...usually we just split the catch up.

One more thing - the mate can only filet so much fish, so plan on bringing whole fish home (assuming we hook up).

Youngmoon74 10-01-2004 11:14 AM

Okie sounds good, hope the seas are calm...

Notaro 10-01-2004 11:14 AM

Bring your warm gears, too. And some gloves for gripping fishes and keping your hands warm.

Youngmoon74 10-01-2004 11:16 AM

Oh yea one last thing generally how much do you tip? want to make sure I bring enough cash

Notaro 10-01-2004 11:17 AM

15 to 20 percent.
