mahogany wood question

just added a three season porch to my home with mahogany wood for floor, i'd like to put a clear coat on it.
anyone have any hints on products to use for mahogany flooring,
should i fill the nail holes at all?? do i need to do any sanding first?? the room is enclosed with slideing glass windows and screen. thanks for any help.

Penofin is a good sealer.
Don't fill nail holes.
Only sand any dirty spots or splintered spots, otherwise just make sure it is clean.

thanks for the reply bruce, does the penofin give a clear coat look or is it just a sealer.

I have been using Penofin for years and like it. Its a Brazilian rosewood oil. Go to http://www.penofin.com/ and read up. I use the exotic hardwood oil. From what I was told the only difference between this one and the marine is viscosityand $10:smash:
If you do use it it does smell odd ffor a little while and you MUST wipe it off as per the directions.

Good luck

Chris

ps I use it on other wood too.......
