Eben I thought you could appreciate this. My son was only a little over a year in June and I took him to the beach. I caught a small schoolie and he was totally amazed. I hope to pass on my love of fishing to him.

nice! oh i cant wait to teach my son how to fish... i think it will be fishing for trout, then largemouth. Then, if he truely shows interest i will take him surfcasting. I think the trick will be to start off very gentle. maybe sandworms at the beach with circle hooks.

you mean you havn't started teaching him the fundamentals yet Like this is a rod, this is a fish, lets go school started for my son 3 weeks old.

awwwww! :) gotta love it!! my dad has pics of me when i was little with the first sunfish i ever caught a local pond needless to say i was hooked for life
