Wakefield/Mirabelli
When Francona decided to put Wakefield in....why the F*%k didn't he put Mirabelli in for Veritech???:smash: Veritech can't catch the knuckleball plus his bat tonight has been a non-factor and Mirabelli has been swinging the bat good lately!:smash:
|
See?????:smash: :smash: Look how much trouble Veritech is having!!!!:af:
Mrs Francona.....where should I forward your mail?:smash: |
See??????????:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: 3 passed balls now!:af:
|
that was too close!
|
That was too stupid!!!!! Put Mirabelli in there next inning! Or Die!!!!:rocketem:
|
Who's left in the bullpen?
How about BJ Kim, is he on the roster? :laughs: |
Isn't Bill Lee still rattling around Fenway somewhere?:smash:
|
How many passed balls this inning? I bet a passed ball will cost us this game!:smash:
|
4 whiffs for Wakefield now....isn't it time to lift him and let Kevin Millar pitch?:smash:
|
He's getting it done tho, it is just killin' all of us!
|
All done, now everyone go to bed. :D

They probably should start Mirabelli tonight. Varitek(please note the spelling) has played every inning of every game and he has to be spent. |
Larry - Shut UP
Your killing me here :smash: - I'm going to need to put you in time out (you can get out of jail with plugs :hee: ) |
:gf:
|
Bigfish, what game were you watching?
If anything he should have sat Damon down for someone else like roberts or someting. Veriteck had some offense last night and they needed him still in the lineup. his catching wakefield wasn't that bad. Wake did awesome. maybe you want BK Kim:smash: |
varitek looked lost catching wake, shouild have put in miribelli. we could have very easily lost game on pastballs. just my .02

You guys are off your nuts...:smash: :smash: :smash: if, yeah if they lost that game because a passed ball allowed runners to advance to scoring position and they scored, you would be crawling all over Franconas corpse! But because everything turned out honky-dory you are all satisfied!! Well, in the real baseball world, it was a bad move, why do you all think Mirabelli catches Wakefield in the first place??? Cause' they are good buddies??:smash: Remember, if the Sox won that game last season when Little left Pedro in the game, you guys all would have thought Little was a great manager and what a gutsy move it was, instead it blew up in his face and he was a bum!!! It may have been a great move putting Wakefield in there, but leaving Varitek (happy CSK?) in the game was a mistake!

I half agree with you. I thought that leaving veritek in for the 1st inning that Wakefield pitched was the right thing to do. He was due up the next inning and has been swinging a good bat in the series. But after that inning, even my wife couldn't understand why they left him in to catch, we weren't going to need his bat (hopefully) 3 innings later.
You guys honestly didn't think it was going to be easy now, Did You. I got gray hairs popping out all over the place and I made sure my health insurance was all paid up. :D |
I cannot agree with you more Bigfish. I did not have a problem with Varitek starting to catch when Wakefield was in but after one passball it was apparent that he was having trouble catching it. Not only did he have 3 passballs but how many also got away from him that the runners could not advance on. Not to mention the fact that Varitek had a 5 hour game the night before also.

Bless you RWilhelm....the voice of reason!;)
