I had no goal other than how can I get the wife to let me go fishing more. [ honey do this-honey do that] I just liked to fish.

I will say this...the best part of fishing is in the hunt,,

WOW, July and during the daytime hours. What was the exact weight?

50.7...short an chubby...kinda like me:D there was a 54 takin in the same spot by a guy who rented a rod an bought a mack to fish on the bottom,,he got his at 11:30 am with people swimming around him:rolleyes:

52.5# and a 51.5#. 6/6/03 I got the 52.5, live bunker, NJ fish, shore caught. 5/31/04 got the 51.5, same deal, same spot:) .

I've had days where I used more than 50 pounds of live bait. That count??

cod, yes.. almost did it with a wolf fish.. largest lineside to date is 37....

All the bunkers U could ever wish for in NJ every May thru July GS, I mean miles and miles of them lol. I dont know why they dont come up your way, but I'm glad they like it here in NJ:D

Been doin' this about 40 years. Since I was 16. Never got a 50. Best is (2) 42s. One at Narrow River in Oct 1996 and one in the back of the Charletown breachway in Sept of 1992. Both on live eels.
