Oh...now I gotta run out and pick it up! I have been waiting for it to come out!:happy: He was so happy that day as was I! June at the Race....he landed his first surf keeper on a 2 oz. crippled herring all by himself! It was one of those great moments I will never forget.....very proud of my boys always!:D

As I recall that two week stretch we were down there I could not catch a cold....but he got a keeper!;)

Hopefuly in about 5 or 6 years I will know that feeling:D

Eben...that is my youngest son, he will be 11 in February....my oldest will be 12 next week! They are the best! We have alot of fun.:D Started them fishing about 2 1/2 years old for sunfish, largemouth and catfish.....then one day they saw a striper swim up to them on the beach and wanted to try fishing for them so we did! They both caught their first striped ones before I ever did!;)

Years ago they put both my kids in with the little write-up I sent, I still have it on the wall !!!! :D

I got about one more year to wait. Congrats to the little guy.

I still haven't made the Fisherman, and my buddy's the editor!!!

My son got his first keeper at the same age!! And was also in the fisherman!! But it was a boat fish, and I had to lift it over the side for him but he did the rest!!
Was a great day for all!! And I think every realtive has a copy of it also!
