how'd ya do this wknd?

as for me, not to good. fished 5 miles of beach east of c-town, up and back, not a bump! finally, as we're walking around some guys chunking and tossing tin, the guy on the far end tells us there are schoolies and blues eating tin and tells us to join him. sure enough, there were. we (my friend and I) managed a decent pick of schoolies to 25", not incredible, but hey, they put a bend in your rod. at the end, we managed a few shad. as we were walking back to the van (it was my mom's), we each make a cast in to the channel off the rocks. i come up empty. he hooks up, and the thing takes 1/4 of spool(650 ss 12 lb mono) before the hook pulled.
anyways, thank you to that guy on the beach. and the rocks btwn c town and the funny flat fouse had lots of mung.

Fished one night for a few hours, I did OK...3 small fish and one decent one about 25# but it took a lot of casting to get them. All on plugs.
I took the truck in to the dealer for its annual de-beaching. Pick it up next Sat. (complete fluids and filters change and full vehilce detail) Pulled the cooler rack off, pulled the boat out of the water, powerwashed it and removed all the stuff and put it away.

This week break down all the rods/reels and send most of them in for service (will hold a couple in the garage just in case) Also I need to send in the electronics for some minor matters.

wrapping it up (but always ready for a late season blitz)
