How deep would a darter dive if a darter could dive deep?
 
I have the small Gibbs 1 5/8 oz darter. I know it does best in the current. What kind of current? Running across me or running past me or running towards me? I have oppurtunities to fish each. So what do I do? Still confused on how to use it.

In fact, I haven't caught any fish on any of my wooden lures. I have a small Hab's needle, a 5/8 oz Casting Swimmer, a Boones Needlefish, a Danny Swimmer, a large darter, the gibbs darter and can't get bit on any of them, even the bluefish won't hit them. Any help?

I've had darters that run deep and others that are just below the surface. Maybe it's plug design or the way I was working it. I'd be inclined to go with the former.
