Snap-on or without... on a leader?

What's your opinion guys?

I tried the snap-on it is convenient co'z you can replace your lure anytime you want but the disadvantage i see is the plug performance. Like for a swimmer I tried it without a snap-on and my bomber looks good when swimming but when I tried the snap-on it tends to sway on a side.

for big needlefish and wooden plugs i use a breakawway fastlink clip for bombers or anything small and plastic i tie direct.

I tie my leaders with a barrel swivel on one end and nothing on the other. I tie direct to all my plugs. Superstitious I guess.

I use Preparation H.

I've read an article in Ask Spike that DuoLock acts better and it doesn't affect the movement of the lure co'z it's too light.
