Crap, Dave you're parting with some needles too?

ChrisL has a gorgeous blue needle you made for him, I saw him fish that on a sandy beach in Rhody and that thing is deadly.

Check your snail mail in the next few days bub...

p.s. I still have a good month of Fall run fishing left in CT :hihi:

Mr. Sandman 11-10-2004 09:33 AM

any big pike's left? I will take them all. These troll GREAT and I caught some nice fish on them this fall. I got a big yellow one in the auction and put a yellow hackle on the tail hook and took a slew of fish trolling it on wire.

zacs 11-10-2004 09:45 AM

Kippy, grab 'em while you can.

Mr. Sandman 11-10-2004 09:57 AM

again, I will make it easy on you. I will buy them ALL including the $50 plug.
BM, PM me with total amount and where to mail it. I can also Paypal you instantly.

fishweewee 11-10-2004 10:04 AM

Dayum, I just saw that tuna lure.

Do you know how many offshore guys down in Hatteras would kill for that thing? I could have used that in July... :wall: The yellowfins weren't biting on medium troll but that thing on a slow troll would murder 'em.

Looks like a baby mahi-mahi. :wall:

If Sandman don't want it, I'll take it.

Mr. Sandman 11-10-2004 10:25 AM

I have to be honest I rarely fished the pike my entire life...until last year when I got one from bernzy for the surf...now it is in my bag all the time.
Later I used that big fat yellow one the bm made for the auction. I could not believe now well it trolled. Probably the best single plug I have ever trolled...I am not kidding, it was my go to trolling plug this year, it is really sweet, swims perfect and catches too. I saw several guys eyeballing me closely when I pulled it up..heard one guy say to another "some kind of yellow trolling plug hes got on".

Nebe 11-10-2004 10:48 AM

pikies do not catch fish.. i have never caught fish on a pikie, and no-one i know has caught fish on a pikie :hihi:

fishweewee 11-10-2004 11:09 AM

Sandman, I'm with you.

BM makes some really nice surf plugs, but like you said some of the stuff he makes is deadly for slow-trolling. I came to realize this on a number of offshore trips. The back and forth wiggle action is just amazing.

You're only limited by your imagination...

Now, catching a cod on a BM pikie or danny - that's my next challenge (already caught a few on a BM needle). :laughs: Actually, it's not so hard, I could see it done while drifting the plug via a 3 way swivel setup ... provided it don't swim too funny 300 feet down. :wall:

Flaptail 11-10-2004 12:56 PM

After all this activity not only will you be able to get a new refridgerator but you will be able to get a Sub-Zero built in!!!! ( Sell some more a get a new truck ( make that a boat)!!!!! I told ya there was gold hangin' in that shed. :D :laughs: :laughs:
