Chris at Falmouth Bait and Tackle fished hard last week and managed a 41.2-pound striper from the canal late one night. Since then it has slowed considerably but Chris and his buddies saw a 45-pounder being loaded into a truck at one of parking lots along the Ditch two nights ago. Rich, who bait fishes the canal exclusively, landed a 30-inch bluefish on a mackerel chunk last Sunday. If you can stand the cold and wind it may be worth it. P.M.
