Somethin messed with the database dude...

Twice now today I seen on the forum index where it says a new post, first one was by AdamR in the plug forum, left side shows check box with new posts in that forum...click the forum and post is no-where to be found.

first time I figured maybe the post was deleted by the author...but the second time says something wacky goin on....

ok third time....shift reload to get a clean refresh...plug forum shows new post at 12:07 pm but when you go into the forum the last post was 12:05pm.....

Yea and the wierd thing is none of the posts are there :eek:

I'm not seeing it but I am looking into it...

DOESN'T seem like it's doing IT now John....but none of the posts that were shown as new are there either...

click on the forum there's no new posts by thespecialist......

click on his name in the forum index in the plugforum window....shows this:

right no, at 2:14, it says Specialist has a post in the plug building, but it isn't there... cue X-Files theme music.

Yup, Same thing here. Can't see his post. It only seems to be happening in plug building forum.

ok so I'm not losing it you guys see it toooooo :laughs:

Specialist can be posting in a moderator / admin forum and it will show that he's posting but it won't be on the main board - that is normal. He just did that today too... That is probably what explains it... But I'm keeping an eye on it...


I will be doing some tweaks to the board in advance of making major software changes (remember sneak peak?) - you may see some of that as well....

also saw it happen with a post by Flaptail earlier today and once by JohnR. thought someone was messing with me.

It also happened with Bigfish this morning.

yep i've seen it on 4 different people now. AdamR, Bigfish, thespecialist, and one other.

Hmmm......... I tried to post a thank you to Bernzy for a gift pack I got in the mail Saturday. No see um But I pm'd JohnR. I hate software and all the problems it causes when U are tryin' something new. If it it can be fixed John can fix it (I hope):D

I saw it happen with JHABS earlier today in the plug forum. tried to click to the little arrow next to his name, thought maybe that would send me directly to his post, but I got access denied.

Must be a wormhole.
