I use the flat end of a couple of different sized drill bits.

Eight Colors! What is your layup schedule for that?
And I take it you airbrush it on?

I start with a base coat of white (1), go to pink(2) on sides (top half) then lay a black (3)stripe down top center. Pearl(4) on the belly, silver(5) on the sides. Gold (6) fog on the belly, Chameleon green (7) stripe down each side of black stripe. And a Burgandy (8) shot for the chin

:laughs: No can do. JHabs told me almost 2 years ago "you're never going to get rich making plugs" . And you know what he is absolutely correct. It takes way too much time and effort for not that huge of a profit margin on a time/money ratio. If you ask John he will tell you that he works 12 to 16 hrs a day/7days a week and I believe it. Easier to keep the day job. (when I can back to it)

striperman36 11-24-2004 05:42 PM

Nice. Mac.
I have to agree with ya. Don't quit your day job, if you have one.
What paint and air brush do you use?
I am trying to get my santa list together and the missus is interested!

I use some createx, some oils. Depends on what I am doing. As far as an airbrush the 2 I use most are both badger 360s. I also have 2 badger 350s and a 200 . The 360 is a versatile brush as it can be used gravity feed or siphon feed.

Thanks,
I put in for the paasche VL should I reconsider?
I also want to drive this off my airgun compressor with a valve on it to reduce the pressure and a moisture/oil cache.
Is this okay?

MAC 11-24-2004 05:59 PM

The paasch is a great gun from what I hear. BM uses one and swears by it. Personal preference really. Maybe he will chime in here and let ya know his thoughts. Your compressor will be fine. I use my twin tank Emglo. Moisture trap is a must. You can get them inline on your airbrush hose.

Thanks.
Hopefully I will learn to use it as well as you and others on this forum.
