I really dont think pushing the liquor is a good idea on a fishing board . look at what your doing to poor mikey on a Monday . good thing ricky hasnt seen it yet .

I was thinking johnny blue , red or black would fit the bill and then krispy's got to bust out with the good stuff from scottland .

redlite 11-29-2004 04:57 PM

Amongst all them bottles, I found the one I was lookin for. Thanks boys.

Krispy, you should have gotten some in plastic bottles for lonely nights on the rocks.

And you look sooooooo charmin' in a skirt by the way.:laughs:

I got some of this Cruzan 151 gold that I bought 14 years ago....so it's about 24 years old aged in the bottle....think it's still good?

Moose Nuckle 11-30-2004 12:24 PM

YES !!!!!!

tynan19 11-30-2004 09:02 PM

If you drink it you might look like your Avatar!:laughs: :laughs:

UserRemoved1 11-30-2004 09:11 PM

does the proof go up too when it ages? Would this stuff be like jet fuel now?

tynan19 11-30-2004 11:07 PM

It was Jet fuel when you got it now it is Rocket Fuel. I am not afraid, I say bring it to plug night I will be the tester.

The Dad Fisherman 11-30-2004 11:20 PM

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but spirits stop aging once they get put in the bottle.

But as long as its been capped it should be fine to drink....if you don't want to chance it though I can make sure it gets disposed of properly for you

scoobe 11-30-2004 11:32 PM

Proof will not go up. Upon reaching a certain alcohol percentage (forget where exactly) the bacteria poison themselves with their own waste, which is alcohol. Yes, we drink bacteria poop. To reach higher proof drinks (basically all the liquors) you have to distill. Since alcohol and water have different boiling points, you can get rid of the water and leave the good stuff behind :)
